Currently spinning this album and getting biblical chills. The fact that this album is one of, if not the most complete and cohesive album of all time, it sickens me we never got a movie despite talks of it at the time.

  • The overall religious and spiritual tone of the album from various aspects of life
  • Introduction to the South ala Kentucky
  • A heavy focus on the ills of life (weed, lust, greed etc...basically the 7 sins)
  • Mini story within the album involving a firefighter that's struggling with his daughter having a mixed raced baby
  • The consequences of holding hate in your heart (the downfall of the firefighter seeing his judgment near the end)
  • The interludes playing a huge part of the overall tone and story of the album
  • The end track resembling credits to a movie of finding redemption, seeing the ills of the world, living with regrets, and finding purpose to keep it trucking
:mjcry:You know what pisses me off....there's rock albums that have full-fledged movies dedicated to each track of the album. Yet, in hip hop...this album and countless others will just be a Bandcamp ghost tale, rather than a story that needs to be told to the masses.
