This applies to EVERYBODY

We all have insecurities but its crazy how many people especially in america let their insecurities control them to the point of self destruction or where they feel they have to destroy somebody else to alleviate it. Grown ass adults too.

Like for real, some folks act surprised when im not tripping about being short. Are short guys supposed to be insecure with themselves because a bunch of insecure dudes who are happen to be a certain height dont think their shyt?

So true, unfortunately pop culture and social media hinder a lot of out critical thinking skills without us even realizing.

For example I used to think zodiac signs were fun to read about back in the day, but people really want to psychoanalyze you know based on your fukking birthday. Get real for a second lol.

The internet gives us daily reminders of our shortcomings.

We can always find an example of someone we believe is living a better life or the life we convinced ourselves we should be living.

Just let people do them, if you feel good about yourself; in all honesty don't worry about what the next person does:yeshrug:

To answer your question about short guys; yes, we're supposed to feel insecure

Pop Culture and Social Media is a depiction of society

American society is a representation of insecurity.

Society exaggerates people's insecurities. The begging for external validation is exemplified in a multitude of ways.

Society tells you "don't do this, do this" Society is a like a confused individual who doesn't know what they want. Why should anyone listen to such a unsecured system?

Society tells people they need to spend money to impress people with money they don't have to appease people they don't like. For what? Clout.

Ever heard of playing the game? The game is to acquire social status for survival. Survival of the fittest, only the strong survive.

America was never a country that promoted critical thinking, rather emotional reaction. To survive in a chaotic society, discernment, rationality and stoicism is a necessity.

Also for us 80s babies that came up in a world pre digital it was only movie stars and celebs that were expected to be picture perfect with abs rippling. Even then they had an off season where they could sit back and chill out of the spotlight. Since the net democratized fame people have to be "on" 24/7 and that must be exhausting.

We are going to see a super frazzled generation along with an immense drop in population as well as people amuse themselves to death little realizing they are being consumed by the consumption as they mistake ignorance for wisdom in this huge game of Simon Says...
