Generally, big time wrestler in this phase of their career hit a renaissance and put on their best work. Orton hasn't. In fact, he has gotten worse.

His work rate has been trash.
His presence in feuds has been trash.
His matches been are probably the lowest quality since the start of his career.
I seen stale bread more fresh than his gimmick
He ain't about to reinvent himself
He gonna coast till he retires.

He's gone full "2000 Collecting Paychecks Kevin Nash".

He is trash. Be glad when this hick retires and have to most hollow accomplishment in the HOF.

Just kinda proves he was always mostly hype and privilege. He looked the part and was treated like a big deal, but when that wanes and its time to switch it up or prove yourself...he's got nothing. Look how many times Jericho has reinvented himself and found some new wrinkle to explore when he realized his schtick was getting old. I always criticize Cena for not having that, and Orton's got even less.

Diffrrence between talent & passion and just coasting and collecting checks.

so sad because there seemed like there was a short window in this run where he was on fire with twitter memes shouting him out and him going full throttle on his badass 'rko everyone/psychopath' tweener character. hell, the wyatt angle up until he turned was pretty damn great, but god i cannot be any less interested in a thing he does anymore. i dont even like jinder but i cant find a reason why i wouldve put orton over him at any single point. he's just bland. he's like a bowl of oatmeal your girl is gassing up as the best food in the breakfast when youve got bacon eggs and home fries on your plate.
