Wayne and Pharrell had a song in 09 called yes that got leaked but all good points in this thread.

I'm aware. And I think Pharrell may even have unreleased songs with Drake and Nicki (according to Wiki). But it still leaves open the question of why they never worked with each other between the time period of What Happened to that Boy in 2002 and Mr. Me too in 2006. I mention those two years because most artists that do a hit record together don't wait 4 years to try and do another record together (unless it's Dr. Dre or something who's known to take hiatuses). Then obviously we know why they wouldn't work together post 2006 after Clipse sent the shot. But those 3 years I think are pretty telling. This industry is a favor for a favor type industry. I guess we could argue Clipse were going through their bullshyt with Jive so maybe they could never capitalize on that favor during those three years because they didn't drop an album until 2006 but that's the same year they started dissing Wayne so if they had a favor from CM in their back pocket what better time to use it than then?

Here's another part that makes me think this. Drake actually worked with Pharrell prior to signing to Cash Money on Room For Improvement. Drake is also a huge hiphop head/nerd who I'm sure grew up idolizing Pharrell (especially considering him being a fan of the Clipse is pretty documented). So for him to not work with Pharrell tells me something's up

But that wasn't Pharrell working wirth Wayne. Wayne was just freestyling on Shawna's Getting Some Head

i'm sure they're cool now but people don't remember Pharrell having some choice words for Wayne when Wayne was sending shots at Hov. Pharrell basically said Dipset had Wayne so comfortable, had him gassed, Wayne thought he could diss Jay too or something like that.
