Predator is one of my favorites. It's record is impeccable. It's not to be fukked with. Terminator 2 is universally beloved but I think The Terminator is better. Still tho, they both great. Iont know if there's any MCU movies that surpass Predator. There's a few that are on par but Predator and T2 are rated R action movies. It's not the same sport compared to MCU PG-13 summer blockbusters.
Yes we can...the problem with marvel movies is that there are to many of them and most of them have no replay value.
I mean, the first ironman looks like shyt and look dated compared to T2.
Sure, you can compare some marvel movies to t2 and predator but 80 % of marvel movies have 0 replay value.

There's only 4; Civil War, Black Panther, Infinity War and Endgame, all which presented excellent writers and even better directors. That's it.

T2 & Predator are better movies in every aspect than MCU. The only ones close are Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War. BP & Guardians 1 are close, but lack in at least one element.
You'd have a better argument comparing them to Sasha Mitchell Kickboxers or Steven Segal..or the Buddy Cops - Running Scared, Red Heat, Tango & Cash, Turner & Hooch/K9, Beverly Hills Cop (even though 3 is more like MCU flicks)..or Blind Fury

I was old enough to see both in theaters. T2 was a huge summer blockbuster everyone couldn't wait to see and it delivered. Predator was just a run of the mill action movie that came and went it was not revered at the time as anything special.
Does that somehow make Ant Man 2 better than Predator or something

This a joke? Lmao... btw T2 was not just cgi at all.. they used some cutting edge VFX for the time but it was all layered over real set pieces or miniatures.
Because they’re both considered iconic action movies after their release regardless of the predator reception then. The reception at the time is irrelevant to how good predator is or is considered now.
