This epic colossus, half man, half mountain, was erected in the late 1500s by renowned Italian sculptor Giambologna as a symbol of Italy’s rugged Appenine mountains. This mountain god, fittingly named Appennino, stand 35 feet tall over the ground of the Villa di Pratolin

In Nigeria we have the Olumo Rock :lolbron:

Olumo Rock is a mountain in south-western Nigeria. It is located in the ancient city of Abeokuta, Ogun State, and was historically used as a natural fortress during inter-tribal warfare in the 19th century. Its patron spirit is venerated in the Yoruba religion as an orisha

That's pretty impressive. Wonder what sort of pulley system they used to get him around the rock

looking at it im not sure just checked it does tricks like the model below shows it on a miniture scale.
