lucky for me, my kids are old enough they got to experience toys r us trips as well.

back in the day, my pops took us to toys r us ALL the time. it was NEVER to buy shyt. he would just let us look at all the shyt we couldn't get

Everytime we go in the store, my boys have learned to be okay with not getting something everytime we go. We'll just tell them "put it on your Christmas list"

Those catalogs were the best. Video games/electronics were always in the back. All the girl stuff was up front. Actually, you had the GI Joe, Transformers, etc right before the electronics. I think.
