It took, what, three seconds before we had a black Merlin appear and another few seconds until another black actor...then a black love interest.

I have NOTHING against black actors but I really think it's time to stop with all this race and gender washing.

Yeah the turn in the 2nd ep had me making those exact faces. They did not sell the vibe in the trailer lol.

The first episode was up and down for me. .It wasn't bad enough to stop watching, but wasn't great enough that I'm fully intrigued. I really don't like King Arthur when they try to keep it grounded, but we shall see Hell, they should've brought back Camelot.

Its more the lore than King Arthur himself


Even in the classic stories Arthur is the least interesting character. Lancelot, Guinevere, Merlin, and the other knights of the roundtable plus the setting of Camelot and the legend of Excalibur are what make the Arthurian stories dope.
