Ehh, I wouldn't go that far. Almost every season is unpredictable in the NFL now. That's just the way it is.

Teams are regularly making the playoffs on the last weekend, then winning the Super Bowl.

'quality of play' is such subjective term tho breh
what it might mean to one- ie dominant team or two, could mean something else to others (what we see now, bunch of good but not amazing teams where one-three plays can determine games outcome because theyre evenly matched in talent)

Don't people complain that the nba only has a few teams(3-4), that only has a chance to compete for a championship every year which makes the nba boring to watch for a lot of teams?
