The NBA is better now than it was ten years ago
NBA WAS ALREADY TURNING INTO WHAT IT IS NOW BY 2016, SO MAYBE 15 YEARS AGO .. AND 16 WINS IS A STRETCH, BUT I CAN SEE THEM SNEAKING IN AS AN 8TH SEED DURING THE 90S & 2000S.

This team won 24 games just 3-4 years ago. They didn’t get any big name free agents to arrive there. Just smart draft picks and acquisitions, and after winning 22 games during the 2020-21 season, they won 24, then 40 then 57, then 68 and the championship and currently are 24-2. This wasn’t some overnight success.
