This wouldn’t be an issue if people didn’t live their lives completely online. Following and watching “influencers “ every move and constantly lusting after hoes that’ll never care that you even exist. Too many men have become comfortable being the 879th comment on a post telling some random how amazing and beautiful they are.

Plus those men got used to hella filters on women’s skin.
This was an easy transition.

The biggest impact AI is going to have (digitally, on the internet) is that it's going to decrease the amount that people interact with and use social media.

When you can't tell if what you're looking at is real or not, you're eventually going to stop using it as a way to combat the frustration.

And then to fight back against the fact people are not using social media as much as they used to, places like IG, YT, Twitter and TikTok will then introduce a form of verification that indicates you are looking at, talking to, or interacting with a real person - this person is real, they are from where they say they are from, and they are who they say there are.

But that verification will require IDs or real names - that will drive away trolls, liars and fake people.

So you'll have 80+% of the internet which is unverified AI, trolls and bots, and 20% verified and ID'd real people. Give or take. Probably 90/10.

And another byproduct of this is people will, to quote the internet, "touch grass". People will tire of having only 10-20% of the internet as verifiable humans to interact with, and start... going outside and looking outside again.

This is a good thing, IMO.

:yeshrug:

At least in terms of social media. I'm not a blanket "pro-AI" guy. But in this specific way, it will eventually lead to a cleaning up of the internet and social media.
