I bet people negged because they're butthurt that anyone could ever say anything bad about them. The fact is, a lot of Eagles fans are scumbags. There are some good ones out there and I'm friends with one but even he admits that he hates the majority of his fanbase. They're overly arrogant and extremely unappreciative. When McNabb was playing for them, they couldn't wait to run him out of town despite the fact that he had more success in 5 years than the franchise had in about 40. What else did you want him to do, catch his own passes? Then again that still may have been an upgrade from Todd Pinkston and Freddie Mitchell
When I said that the Eagles wouldn't win the NFC East this offseason, people laughed at me like I was crazy and couldn't fathom a way they didn't win that division. A lot of Eagles fans couldn't even foresee Foles being a mediocre quarterback because of 1 fluke season where he lit up the Raiders defense and skated by on a cupcake schedule. Did you forget about the games against the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, the Redskins, the Bears, and the Cowboys? Other than the Cardinals overrated pass defense (which ranks near the bottom of the league this year btw), show me 1 good performance against a legitimate defense in that stretch. It doesnt exist. Eagles fans are much quieter than they've been in a long time now. Guess who got the last laugh?
