VIDEO: Police fire apparent tear gas in Morgantown

The West Virginia faithful enjoyed their team's win over Baylor. (USATSI) West Virginia fans have a reputation for some of the most intense -- and most inflammatory -- celebrations of any fanbase in the FBS.It appears Mountaineer fans have once again lived up to that reputation after their team's upset over No. 4 Baylor. Numerous photos of fans setting fires -- including of couches, yes -- pulling over stop signs, and indulging in other civic malfeasance have made their way social media as the Morgantown evening has progressed
Not surprisingly, those celebrations have prompted a response from local police, which has reportedly included riot gear:

Part of that response also appears to be the use of tear gas, as shown in this fan-shot YouTube video of police "shutting down a house party that got out of hand across from Summit Hall" (language warning):

I swear...This country never ceases to amaze me. White college kids riot and destroy property in public places when their stupid little teams win some insignificant game and at the most some of them will get locked up for a night or at the least fined and do community service. Black people protest and assemble using their constitutional rights after we get murdered like dogs while unarmed and surrendering (or for just being black at wrong place and wrong time) and get beat up by cops, tear gassed, maced, and arrested after being the victim of endless civil liberty & civil right abuses. Even though these are essentially adults doing this...they are treated like kids that are "just having fun". Meanwhile black kids are treated like adults, adults like kids, and all like animals exhibiting savage behavior for standing up for something more worthy and noble. Smfh. The double standards are sickening.
