Art style, tone and dialogue, this is how Netflix should have handled Yasuke. They captured yasuke character really well here. Lakeith my boy but Phil Lamar is the goat black voice actor. I'm blown away by how good this was animated, considering this is from 2003.

Yasuke couldve been raw, but they were doing entirely too much with all the robots and shyt. It seemed like they just threw a bunch of random ideas together and tried to make it work. Wad the writer on powder? Serious question

2d animation is DEAD in America. Like they legit have a shortage of artists who are trained to do it.

Its a shame too because 2d animation is WAY more visually appealing.

The problem with Yasuke wasn't the animation but the writing stunk. And for the life of me I cannot understand why they sideline Yasuke in his own show for the magic white little Japanese girl
