that was probably one of the last actually good show ideas MTV had. they cut it when TRL blew up. remember when TRL was MTV Live and it had a countdown but wasn't the centerpiece of the show? and it was a random ass countdown of all genres, not 45 second clips of boy band shyt. they would play a mariah joint, then master p, then the lox, then some bullshyt, then back to some
shyt, then an outkast video.
DFX had a short but good run in the beginning too tbh with the battles. but tek was always annoying
