This is all well and good but I would be skeptical and think of this purely as an advertising opportunity.

LinkedIN doesn't work unless you actually have marketable skills recruiters and hiring managers want, and it pretty much is useless without a BA/BS at the bare minimum. Considering we already know what her experience is I don't think she needs that much help with her Resume. Any old labor employment office should be able to help her with that free of charge. Any kind of career coach you should already know those nikkas only make money off C-suite people. Even if we're only talking a small business that CIO is makin at least 65k in the South or Midwest, and much more in the Northeast so they are probably getting a retainer or commission based on that.

They are not helping hamburger and fries experienced young people break into secretary or admin jobs (which now all seemingly require a degree which is ridiculous).

Currently reading this book but over the past couple of years I've adopted a survivalist mentality.

IMO if you can ignore the conditioning that you have to keep up with the Jones' you can still develop a strategy to survive and eventually thrive. I don't have children but I don't think it's something that can't be done given the info we have available today.. If this chick is savvy enough to start a gofundme then she can figure out ways to cut her expenses, save, and invest. All it takes is a little sacrifice.

It's a skill to be frugal. I'm frugal as hell, I laminate coupons and never spend things unless they're on sale. It's very easy to live below your means if you put the time and effort into calculating your expenses and how to dramatically decrease them. My brother used to think it was annoying, but now he wants me to put him on game. I learned from my mother, she didn't wanna go on food stamps so instead she used to get all the coupons from the paper, manufacturers coupons, and negotiate store discounts. It just takes a lot of time but it's worth it in the end obviously if you're struggling with a child. If she grinds she can get scholarships for school and do even better, but climbing out of that (cycle) of poverty is very difficult if your mindset isn't adjusted.

I'm 22 so i'm speaking on my generation. The black community is currently repeating a cycle. A lot of men & women were raised by single mothers because their dad wasn't there. So what u have now is a bunch of fatherless men & women.

A dude who didn't have a good dad is more likely to be weak & dependent on females. A woman without a good dad is likely to not be good at picking mates. And...because of racism in america, a lot of black men have to take whatever job they can get so many are coming up short. Are we really going to keep acting like most black men are CEOs? A lot of brehs are working fast food, selling weed on the side, doing side jobs, etc. Out of the ones who do have their shyt together, i hear them talk about how they wanna be bachelors til they in their 30s-40s.
