Because it’s been stigmatized to gay sex, people aren’t going to report it unless it’s absolutely necessary. And the general public will automatically assume the person is gay or slept with someone gay if they get it.

Covid hit everybody. Monkey pox in the USA is hitting one group way more than others. If it was airborne you’d see way more cases in heterosexuals.
