In a symbolic sense yes because it was cool to see a person of color as the President. In a literal sense no, because I don't know him personally so there really isn't anything to miss.

Obama was a good progressive who didn't make Americans look either dumb, greedy, or crazy. People loved to use him as a scapegoat whenever shyt hit the fan, but if you look at the things accomplished under his administration, health care and Wall Street reform, ending the war, OBL finally murked after we pathetically failed for 10 years, legalized gay marriage, revitalization of auto industry, clean energy, all around economic turnaround and rebuilding of Americas image, these were solid 8 years. Now the issues that need to be tackled by the next presidency: racism, specifically the mistreatment of blacks in this country, econ inequality, student debt, gun violence, weak justice system, these ISIS weirdos, Syria, border control, political corruption. Issues IMO that are more moderate tremors compared to the earthquake level shytstorm we were entering in 08.

People will miss him once he's gone, he is a legit cool president. Presidents really don't have that much power where they can make big changes. Anything he tried to do, Republicans would always bytch about it. This guy pissed off so many racists, that alone was good enough to him being a president. We won't have a president like Obama for a while. We will have people like Hilary who tries to do the dab and takes selfie with Kim to get votes
