Black men will continue being at the bottom or mid-level at best, not the top or running anything.

You can post all the smileys you want but when you log off here, most black men are in subordinate positions under white/non black men in non-black companies. Your boss is non black. Your upper management is non black. Ain't shyt funny.

Brehs love to act like shyt is sweet online, but the reality is, most of you are under non-black employers and upper management. Very few black men are at the top of these companies, and you know it. Most of you are not CEOs, VPs, CFOs, chief of staff, general managers etc. You are under non black men. Yet you go so hard against the idea of another black man starting a business and hiring black people.

Things are currently and have not been getting "better" for black american men in general. That is a lie black men tell ourselves. There are a few in top/high positions in these companies, but generally we're not. Most of the higher ups are non black. With black men in the lower positions, mid level at best.

When black men stop getting online lying and flexing about this, then progress can be made.

What are you getting at, though? What is it that we need to do to get to these top level positions? What is it that we get online and flex about besides material bullshyt that means absolutely nothing? We get online and flex about being in high-level positions? Or you just referring to that "I'm a boss" shyt?

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with anything you're saying, OP, but I'm trying to figure out where you're going.

Being in subordinate positions to white men is the least of your worries, unless the white man is trying you,in which case you should know what to do. Not that you should not be working towards independence and/or early retirement, maintaining an insurance policy to pass on wealth. We have to work to become financially literate and then pass that knowledge down to our kids.

This is how it looks at a lot of white/non black corporations:
  • CEO - White
  • CTO - White
  • CFO - White
  • Senior VP - White
  • VPs in general- White
etc...they'll put maybe one black man in high positions, but generally they are white/non black

Black men are not "doing good"....a few are on an individual level, but generally speaking, no, still very under-promoted and under-represented in these non black companies. Non black men at the top, with black men under them in lower positions. So that's why i say you're a c00n if you get on here and talk down on entrepreneurship. You don't have to do it, but don't try to discourage others from doing it.

You nikkas can 1-star the thread and post all the smileys you want, but prove me wrong. How many of you are in high positions at that non black company?

Solutions?

All he and his multiple aliases do is make vague threads about economics while condescending black folks while using said aliases to cosign ducktales about being a 6 figure business owner with no receipts and pretend there are all of these Black folks on The Coli against entrepreneurship and not the reality that its hard as hell to secure funding.
