You can tell 95% of British history just with Europeans (Romans, Celts, Britons, Saxons, Normans etc). American history after the genocide of Native Americans, involves a lot of groups.

Americans = use differences to divide us

They sure do think it though, and it’s evident in how Black Brits, French, etc feel. Plenty of French of African descent who complain about sentiments towards them and how they’re treated. As someone said above, they just avoid the conversation.
