I struggle to find a way to be upset/annoyed/miffed with anybody that voices distaste for Domestic Violence.
The more voices, the louder the chorus, the better. Raise awareness. It's not some bandwagon to act jealous or territorial over who's been
on it the longest.
My hope would be that the people who join late, stay joined. And that those concerned about abuse of black women, also care about asian women, middle eastern women, white women... and hell, tack on children of all colors and creeds, the elderly, the disabled, et al.
I would rather somebody be disingenuous, and speak up for a cause that is right, than stay silent... or speak up for a shytty cause.
And as far as Olbermann goes... he's spoken up on behalf of victims of domestic abuse for the last two decades, starting back as an ESPN personality, carrying through fox/msnbc days, and continues through espn. He's a bad example.
