Politicians are basically whores but instead of paying them to fukk you, you pay them to fukk someone else. They been paid to fukk regular people. From the community board up to the mayor.

It's the billionaires and the millionaires who work for those billionaires corporations. Politicians are bought and paid for now more than ever. They aren't innocent but they are an employee.

I told these shmucks about this shyt for years and even pointed out that I have literally seen my neighborhood go from predominantly Black to now being taken over by transplants and gentrifiers but NOPE! When you do that they call you MAGA and INSIST that if you just keep voting for the Dems, the Grand Utopia is just on the horizon.

I even warned them for years well beforehand that Eric Adams is a crook and that the City of Yes was state sponsored gentrification, they ignored it, said we should support him cause he's Black or "let's just give him a chance", then they caught the Homie the Clown sock upside the head and are clamoring for Mayor Halal Plate to get a turn

I own a condo, a house, and I rent for myself personally... but to be honest, I don't really know shyt about real estate. What I do find odd is every new building getting put up is being called "luxury"... don't matter the fukking neighborhood, it's "luxury". Instantly allows you to charge a premium, which I didn't know drives up the price of every other property in the neighborhood.

Near that linden building, all over New York Ave, theyve been converting homes into apartments too. It is what it is. Unless the city builds apartments theres nothing you can do to make it worthwhile for developers to build "affordable" housing. It costs too much to build and maintain here
