How badly do Golden State Warriors fans want to just get into the building for a home game?

We'll soon find out.

The team sent an email to its fans on Monday offering a monthly "In The Building Pass." The pass simply gets a fan into the team's Oracle Arena for every home game for $100 a month.

The mobile pass does not include a seat and, in fact, doesn't even include a view of the court itself. The team says fans who purchase the pass will have access to the arena's bars and restaurants and can watch on the televisions in the club areas.

Fans do have a chance to receive one of the Warriors giveaways if they are one of the first 10,000 people into the arena.

Fans can purchase up to four "In The Building" passes, though each one must be connected to a name and they are non-transferable. Warriors spokesperson Lisa Goodwin said the team plans to sell 200 passes each month, starting with November, and that the pass will automatically renew each month through April, as the offer is not being extended to the postseason.

There are currently 44,000 people on the Warriors season ticket waiting list.

It is believed this is the first time a team has offered fans a ticket merely to get into the building without viewing access. The Dallas Cowboys, since 2009, have offered standing-room-only tickets to its games called Party Passes, but people in the first couple rows can actually see the field.

The Warriors will play in front of a sold-out crowd for the 300th consecutive time on Tuesday night. The streak began on Dec. 18, 2012, in a game against the Hornets, who back then hailed from New Orleans.

Only three teams, the Oklahoma City Thunder (349 games), Miami Heat (385 games) and Dallas Mavericks (751 games) claim to have longer active sellout streaks.

you gonna pay 100 dollars to watch the game in the team parking lot :mjlol:
It must hurt your soul that perhaps(and very likely) Bron's last Final appearance is him getting swept:mjgrin:

MJ had the Game 6 shot getting his 6th ring
Kobe beat the Celtics a franchise rival, getting revenge, and winning his 5th
Time last one was him winning his 5th and getting revenge on Lebron
Shaq was winning his 4th one with Wade

Lebron..... Getting swept:mjlol:

as long as there's demand, what is really the issue here ?
they trying to cake up on fans who cant afford tix prices but still want to instagram/whatever. at worst they get to crappier restaurants and enjoy the atmosphere for fairly cheap.

not my cup of tea at all... but bay area at this point is money honeypot with shytton of rich folks who have so much disposable income even with the high ass rent prices, you're a fool if you arent trying to exploit that :manny:

No different than nfl teams that sell tickets to their outdoor promenades where you basically pay to Stand around a patio area.

Oracle is a little too crap for me to want to do this, but I’d choose a month with some good matchups and do it once they move into chase, it’s like the livest sports bar experience you’ll get, plus you can finesse your way into the seat area and just mill around the aisles/play musical seats.
