I watched a DMX doc where he was negotiating a deal. They asked X if he'd like to go over the deal before he signs, he said nah let's just sign. His lawyer had to step in with the 
"nah let's read it first"
It was so depressing. Soon as he signed it they told him how much had to come out to cover his child support and lawyer fees for prior cases. X just looked defeated from beginning to end. And this was vet DMX...I can't imagine what he left on the table in his prime just not giving a fukk.
