I blasted Jerry Jones yesterday but after thinking about everything that has gone on this year, enough is enough.

This thing has taken on a life of its own that has distracted away from what Colin was trying to accomplish.

Listen to the entire interview but pay close attention to the 9:32 mark where Colin says he was willing to sacrifice his career if it came down to it and that he understood if players couldn't go that far depending on where they were at in life.

Most of these players are blindly following a gesture while ignoring the content. And people kept saying all off season why Colin wasn't speaking up for himself but ignored everything he said in that interview.

Colin made a personal choice for himself by kneeling. He's followed it up by doing a lot outside of football. He never wanted this to be about kneeling. He's donated money and funded camps in addition to other things outside of football, while players are simply kneeling just to kneel.

No change will come by kneeling. Colin knew that. He sparked a conversation and is following up on his beliefs outside of football the best way he can.

If players really cared, then they would donate and support his efforts outside of the NFL not by kneeling because all they have done is let the topic be hijacked by Donald Trump, and other cac's.

I agree. Trump and company swiftly turned this intro an issue about patriotism and whether or not you'll listen to him rather than discuss Kaeps original message. If they directed this same outrage towards injustices and equalities among citizens, their faux patriotism would still be honored.

:lolbron: That you Jerry?
:mjpls:

Seriously. I would've respected my cowboys if they never got involved the the first place. I would've went to Jerry Jones before that arizona game and told him don't do it. I would've ask Jerry Jones to give a donation to Kaepernicks organizion..

And how many players have donated by the way?:usure:.

Imagine if every black player donated one game check and asked management to donate. That's more useful than kneeling.

Everybody been saying the same shyt since Trump called them SOB.

I don't know why people just don't ignore him. He wants a reaction. Kneeling doesn't solve anything. Kaep has been doing a lot outside of football but all the players wanna do is kneel :snoop:

Church. I’m trying to figure out what’s the end game of all of this.

How many players have reached out to Kaep and asked what they could do to help his organization? Little to none.

At the end of the day you can't force someone to be an activist. Dez Bryant made it clear he wasn't jeopardizing his career by being a token kneeler. The end game should be well funded social organizations across the country. Players are saying Kaep should have a job but if all of them donated one game check he wouldnt have to. His movement would be fully funded by black athletes and maybe even a few owners. Kaep' s message would live on and the game would remain the same.

If people criticized players for donating and doing stuff in the off season how stupid would they look? Instead they have hijacked the narrative and the message.
