When MeToo kills AEW before WWE :wow:

But seriously whats the deal here

At the post-All Out media scrum AEW President Tony Khan was asked about the status of Kylie Rae. Rae has been out of action since her loss in a fatal four-way match against Nyla Rose, Awesome Kong, and Britt Baker at AEW Double or Nothing back in May.

Khan confirmed Rae asked to be released from her contract, and it was granted. He also noted there were "no hard feelings," according to Meghan O'Keefe, who was backstage at All Out.

In July it was reported Rae was out due to a "medical issue," and it had been hoped she would return soon.

Earlier this month, Rae's Twitter account was deleted.

I thought she was just retiring. Didn't think there was more to this story :lupe:

If it's a medical issue caused by some sexual assault incident :picard:

If it's a medical issue that AEW knew about and let her get in the ring and get injured further :picard:

If it's a medical issue caused by someone in an AEW ring who was fukked up or otherwise shouldn't have been in the ring :picard:

What happened :picard:

Is this just neckbeard speculation or do we have some #metoo shyt about to break?

I would take whatever this Voices of Wrestling neckbeard site says with a grain of salt. They love throwing shyt out there to make it seem like they have a scoop, but then it turns out to be something that's not significant at all.

It seems like she suffered a career ending and possibly life altering injury.

AEW is benefiting from white knights thinking that journalists should stop at Tony Khan's word...

...also helps them, inadvertently, that the country chick with the same name died.

There's also the very slim possibility that Cody comparing her to Bayley opened her up to a level of harassment that was simply too much for her to handle.

From what I gathered, it seems like a mental health issue but who knows. I hope it's nothing sinister or terminal like cancer.

Tony did say she called him and said she didn't want to work for AEW anymore so that choice of words makes me feel uneasy like there was an issue within the company.

But then why delete social media and cancel her future wrestling appearances? The whole thing is very odd and I hope she pulls through.

Everything about this story seems off, which definitely makes one wonder what the hell is going on here.

Medical issue could mean a lot of things. If she has a communicable disease like HIV or Hep C it could be trouble for her if she didn’t disclose it. On the other hand, if some shyt like sexual harassment or assault was going on then the person or persons responsible should be punished accordingly.
