hey it obviously works. the problem is, we dont know how well it works in more aggressive traffic situations. or with people running red lights, someone cutting you off, a kid running in the street at the last moment. etc. etc. so to me the only way these cars will be super safe even safer then what we currently have is for ALL of us to have these types of cars(no matter the manufacturer). it would be the equivalent of us being on an old school electric car race track. where everyone will be driving the proper speed, everyone would merge and get over properly. no one would be cutting anyone off. traffic would flow a lot better in that scenario as well.

I get automated driving as a safety feature or something i.e. you fall asleep it and you start veering off the road, but why are people infatuated with fully automated driving like the video shows? I would not be comfortable at all.
