Him describing the benefits of that basic offense Corn ran and succeeded in is :wow:

I remember @mastermind and @Mr swag defending that sh1t. They was all on that Corn>>>>>>Luck sh1t. Shanny was amazed Luck survived his Rookie yr as much as he was hit :banderas: Luck da Gawd :salute:

So why couldn't Manziel or Hoyer take advantage of the benefits of that "basic offense"? :leon: Both mobile, both had a better WR group, both had good RBs.

Robert puts together a top 3 rookie season ever in this offense, but Hoyer was hot garbage in it and Manziel was slightly worse.

Why could only robert succeed in this basic simplified offense? :sas1:

The only things I give him props for are finding high quality RBs late in the draft and his running schemes.

I think overall he was a good coach but the game passed him by. He had some luck by having TD go off for those monster years but that team overall was very talented and he played at least some hand in putting it together. You also cant hate on his running schemes lot of RB's ate good off him. But its obvious he aint got what it takes anymore. Same way Joe Gibbs failed on his last comeback. Hes was one of the GOAT coaches but when your time is up your time is up. Mike's time was up 5-10 years ago hes just eating off his name

So read option is what made his offense basic and gimmicky? Even though Dalton, Kaep, Russell Wilson, Cam and others run it? :francis:Here comes the bullshyt.

And @ the bold, No the hell they didn't. They have Zone read plays in the playbook for manziel and he ran it vs the bengals

From the second link

"
The Browns featured four receivers and one running back. Manziel pumped and ran. Dunlap tackled him from behind.

Lynch said: "That is a designed play. (Offensive coordinator) Kyle Shanahan trying to take advantage of Johnny Manziel's mobility.''

Standard O :sas2:
