I imagine women who are single while giving birth are less likely to have an involved partner with them during the delivery thus leaving them exposed to poor care and even mistreatment.

My wife almost died during childbirth. Her doctor wasn’t there and the nurse practitioner was really dismissive of her complaints. She was bleeding extremely heavy and baby had to be put in ICU. Thank god I was there.

Serena Williams and Beyoncé had problems during birth and both have supportive partners and are rich af. It’s medical racism.

Or they can use condoms + birth control or tie their tubes so they won’t get pregnant. It’s really not difficult to avoid pregnancy. There’s only so many days during your cycle that you can get pregnant & condoms+ bc works very well.
