Original song lyrically was trash.. Sigma took the best part of the song (Charlie Wilson) and made a drum and bass song out of it

I love it, and this is coming from someone who loved Yeezus :yeshrug:

Sigma is dope btw, been spinning this one for a while now

Damn. At least credit Charlie Wilson with the feature:what:

Cacs can't even do that:why:
doesnt sound like they actually sampled it if you listen closely -- they got somebody cactastic to just imitate Charlie Wilson as closely as possible. so crediting him wouldn't make sense, but neither would crediting whichever lil nobody they had re-record it.

of course not, its a remake of Kanye's song. rather fukking obvious they couldnt have made their version without hearing it.
-- did you think that Uncle Charlie was just a sample that Kanye flipped & these cacs are biting the same sample???
if so that's not the case, that part was made specifically for Ye's song. Ye getting paid.

This remake kinda just sucks, but I really wish it was good, because honestly Uncle Charlie's part deserves a whole nother classic song to be made from it. this isnt it tho. Yeezus was a great project & i actually really respect it for its flaws. But some of these songs really deserve further life, maybe in radio edits, single versions, alternate mixes, etc...
