The come up is historical and hasn't really been brought up much.

He's an anomaly though. There's a reason the intro video package is the most talked about thing in the match. He was only in that spot because they needed someone to hold the belt on the backburner to evolve the Rock/Cena feud. He was so damn out of place in the main event (and happy to be there) that using him as fodder to the real feud was actually elevating him. There's a reason he's never even sniffed the main event since.


As for Bray, given his look and gimmick, it's amazing how far he's gotten in such a short time. Remember, this is Husky fukkIN Harris (who was a goon in a not so great Nexus stable) out there looking like he's poised to be the future top heel in the industry. Just amazing

The only reason he wasnt on the roster last year is because he gots injurahed....I honestly think if he wouldnt have we'd never have gotten the Shield

I'm one of the few that only watch wrestling around Wrestlemania time mainly because ppl I grew up on like Taker and HHH are prominent but that Wyatt Family gimmick is so entertaining that I'm more interested in the Bray Wyatt match over the Undertaker's this year

Wyatt started off with a big spark, and truth be told, he kinda died down a little bit until he feuded with Bryan.

DB put his ass over big time, and he went from that to the Shield which was white hot. v

He was booked very well and he has proven he deserves his spot.

For as good as he is Bryan should struggle to get a clean win over Bray for as long as they can prolong it without being ridiculous. It'll make that moment Bray is forced to tap something special
