-pregnancy wasn't planned.
-he texted his friends, figured out how to get aid, food stamps etc.
-relationship broke down with the mother
-parents were mad but still helped(both sets).
-his son got used to his voice when he was talking while the mother was pregnant so when he was born he would calm down when he heard his voice.
-Being a father forced him to sacrifice so he can build a relationship with his son.
- Feels his son gave him purpose. 5hrs a sleep average as he's juggling school, work and gym.
-His whole schedule had to align around his son's sleep schedule and when the mother was able to watch him
- they were still living in an apartment while the mom and his relationship broke down.
-The mom was still wanting to live the college lifestyle. This caused more tension.
-They ended their apartment lease and went their separate ways while co parenting.
-being a dad while young feels like a second childhood to him. He's still young enough to keep up with his son when they play.
-He still disciplines his child within reason. They always hug it out afterwards.
-he implements him in chores as well as play. Tries to do everything with him.
- "if I can do it, you can do it" encourages people to take care of themselves and not be afraid.
-He thinks his son is just like him at the same age. He eats healthy, gives his son the same things except in smaller portions. Tries to stay active with him. No iPad.
-learned not to take things for granted.
Whole video reminded me of how youtube used to be. Just people talking about their lives, no chasing ad revenue, no talking with weird tones and inflections, no exagerrated facial expression thumbnail, not begging for subscriptions, not trying to be an entertainer, just regular real life shyt.
