I've always found it funny how something like this will get national attention and will have the racist losing his job, being unhirable, etc.
But then a white cop shoots an innocent black boy and boom, he was just a thug, he deserved it, yadda yadda yadda.
I think when they prosecute random racists like this it's a sort of sacrifice one to save the many. They have something irrelevant they can point to as an example of justice while hiding all the unwarranted shootings and murders behind the curtain.

Dude...this was in Australia, not America. We have gun control laws here which have been remarkably effective since 1996, there are no cops shooting kids like in the US. Racist outburst like this one are not tolerated or accepted here, which is why prosecution was so quick.
If you're just referring to cases in the US which have been similair to this one, my bad. But you did mention this specifically.
