Thank you. That was my very first thought.

AA need to understand that success starts very early in age... you can't feed these kids a steady diet of gangster rap, and single parent homes, and illeteracy. . And wonder why in the teenage and young adulthood years life is hard and is not a like the hip hop songs they are accustomed to living through.
Watch The Coli dodge this thread like the plague![]()

At the ironyA lot of kids don't see it (black enterprises), so they don't believe they can achieve it. Many don't know it's a problem. That's why they continue to shop at places that treat them like thieves.
That's part of why black folks are so inclusive. We live in a multiracial community. People have to be taught our culture as opposed to just "American Culture", we have to know where we came from to see where we are heading. But instead too many are lost and raised by wolves of wall street to be independent instead of working together and to become mindless consumers instead of creators.
Breh, we grown ass men we can agree on certain things and disagree on others. Ain't no tag team partners in life my g. Mgm still my man tho didn't mean to call him he a c00n if that was him. :You were cosigning @MGM for an entire thread tho![]()
:I agree. I didn't feel the need to specify creators of what because the thread is about enterprises. We all know how much we affect the culture and are trendsetters, but that doesn't help us much when we don't monetize or protect our ownership of what we create.I would say the reason black folk are so inclusive is because we were always more amicable than other folks generally.
That doesn't always translate well to business.
Where I completely disagree with you is:
Black folk are arguably the greatest creators in the world, pound for pound!
I really feel that way. And I KNOW that enough of us know about our past to feel the same.
What we don't know how to do is take our creations and "enterprise" with them.
We are not taught that.
