Not that Beyonce is as much as her Hive claims she's an all-time GOAT, she's clearly better than Amerie and Keri. Not saying blackballing isn't a thing, but she didn't need to do it for them... they didn't have the songs or the "it" factor.

Beyonce has the total package and a superior voice (It's a 7 of 10 if im being generous). Only people who could compete in her lane were Aaliyah, Rihanna, and Lizzo; they definitely have the hits. But Aaliyah has a weaker voice and died, Rihanna isn't really in Beyonce's lane and has a weaker voice too, and I think Lizzo is under Beyonce's wing if she doesn’t self destruct before she hits that level.

I went up through mid-college before I stopped playing classical instruments. Thats why my opinion is where it is.

Beyonce is like at best a church lead singer. She’s not some generational talent. Career-wise, obvious GOAT…but she’s more Michael than Prince

Also admittedly, I don't typically go for singers with the best voice. Best songs always wins to me. I think my favorite singers with best voices are Mariah and Chaka, but I ain't the biggest Whitney or Anita fan if that makes sense.

Again. I’m in full agreement with you.

This was Ari Lennox’s biggest issue. And some of Jazmine Sullivan’s problems. Amazing voices with shyt tier themes and writing. For example, people expect bullshyt themes form Sza cause no one rates her vocals that highly so they can kinda just enjoy it on par. With Ari Lennox on the other hand, she had to leave Dreamville and go to an actual team that would develop her into a true songstress and not making glorified side-chick music.

Again… Summer Walker has this issue.

A LOT of female talent gets overlooked because of the lack of solid writing and song making.
