Mans foot was dangling off the bone underneath his skin
@Dorian Breh
I had a similar injury to my ankle when I was shot 5 years ago. it shattered my tibia and fibula at my ankle. I didn't even feel it when it happened, but when I tried to take a step, it was like my ankle was made of spaghetti, and I instantly fell. and my ankle was pointed completely in the wrong direction just like that picture.
it took 3 surgeries to fix. the first was the day it happened, they put aparatus on the outside of my leg just to stabilize it until the 2nd surgery, which repaired the entire thing. after the second surgery, I was in a cast for like a month, then they took that shyt off, and I could no longer really move my ankle cuz it was so stiff
I had plates and screws in it before, but they took it out 4 years ago cuz it caused an infection that wouldn't heal. this final surgery restored my full range of motion. I guess the plates and screws were detrimental all around.
these days, I have pretty much all my range of motion and can run and jump. I just cannot do long distance running anymore like I used to.
