Why would playstation allow Gamepass o n their system when they’ve got their own subscription service

I was mad the day i bought it

None. I love Gears but it plays better on a Xbox controller.

But no first party games are appealing to me.

None. I already own Hi-Fi Rush on PC. Outside of ES6 and the next Fallout, there isn’t anything from anyone Microsoft has acquired that I’m itching to play. That also counts from before the acquisitions.
