Another IS 250 that's caught my eye.

2008
95k miles
four owners
no accidents
They're asking $9,000

What would your asking price be?

Too old for the asking price. Too many owners. It should be priced at 6-7K.
Let's say you own this car for 5 years drive it on average 15K a year, you'll be at 170K miles for a 2008 car which at that point is 16 year old. You'll be selling it for 3-4K with a 5K loss.
I would spend 3-5K more get a 2012-2014 lexus around the same mileage, less owners with more daily usable tech inside.

I see ES selling for better deals

That car is actually priced accordingly if there there are no mechanical issues and it's been well maintained. Hard to tell just from pictures. I just wouldn't buy because the car is old.
