There were only two people ahead of me when I went to the Forestville location. It's in the cut tho, I drove past it on accidentWas the bank still busy with other people opening accounts?

All up for that, lets just hope it doesn't have the same end result as Black Wall Street.

Closed out my Capital One 360 & switched all my savings over to One United today![]()

It's insane how Carver fukked up a good thing they had going on. They are literally on 125th and Lenox and should've had a steady stream of customers AND youth opening accounts there in the past.
I used to go to school close to their location on 125th and one of my boys had an account there when we were younger. And it was almost like they were just "happy" being the "big" bank in Harlem. This was wayyyyyyy before Chase/TD/Citibank started opening up little branches all over the place in the neighborhood.
When they got that bailout a couple of years ago I KNEW they were done for.

dammmm bro. its a shame, but i guess at least theyre still black managed/operated.
what bank u with now
I wish I had one close to me. I'd have to go all the way to East New York bank in person.TD, Apple, Fidelity but going over to City National tomorrow to open an account and just see whats good with them. I know I could easily open one online but I wanna go there in person and get a look at everything. I don't plan on moving all of my shyt into one bank but I will initially use this account as a bit of a "stash" account that I put a little into here and there without thinking about it or feeling like I'm taking a huge hit from my check by making deposits here and there.
I'm also trying to cut wayyyyyyy the fukk back on spending on bullshyt that ultimately isn't gaining me anything. So anything that helps me save more is the direction I wanna go in
