My brother told me about some site he heard about while he was perusing the economist. It funds students education and in return the investors get a % (no more than 10 total to all investors) of that students income for a max of like 5 years or so.

Made me think of starting a thread that pulls all these related resources into one.

I think most people know about Kickstarter. If not it's a crowdfunding site. You pitch an idea and you promote the kickstarter page to your other social media sites, offline, or whatever and people dontate money for you to meet your goal. You have 30 days to meet the goal and if you do, you get all the money to start your project/idea (kickstarter takes a small %) and if not, Im not sure what happens to the money donated, I assume it's given back to the donors. :patrice:

Any other similar and/or related sites or resources. Also what about governmental subsidies?
