Thread wiki?

Can we add the ability to have editable wikis in threads
For instance a multiplayer game where ppl can edit the first post with there names
Big sporting news and you add links tO the first page instead of mucking through 50 pages of reactions.
I've seen it work pretty well on slick deals and cheap ass gamer

LOL yeah I was thinking about that like maybe you have to have a certain amount of post in a thread to get wiki power and the OP could have blocking powers.... eh maybe that's too much.

it's like a post that everybody can edit.. usually the second post in a thread where all the valuable info can be reposted so people don't have to go through the whole thread.

think of the uses for link threads.. everybody that posts a link to download whether book or whatever can just post it there.. again I think it's very useful

Did this idea get thrown in the bushes? Could definitely use it in a few Arcadium threads like "How hard is it to build a PC?" A lot of info is being dropped thru a few threads that would be great to be consolidated into one post.

I don't think it should be available for every thread. Maybe only mods can edit a thread and make a wiki after it's deemed necessary.

Yeah that's pretty much what I was thinking, pretty sure they threw this idea in the bushes though
