Threads becoming so large you can't keep up with them unappreciation

I hate when I'm actively involved in a thread and then I see that its 10+ pages when I check it again. (at 50 posts per page mind you)

Then I'm like

One time I dedicated an ENTIRE one hour lunch break to reading every post in one of those large threads. I had to know exactly what everyone said.
