Let me also add...to those cheerleading for Cam...how soon did ya'll forget how Cam went on 60 minutes and made a complete fool of himself by putting the nail in the coffin of that whole "stop Snitching" movement in mid 2000's hip hop. That stop snitching movement was the last real political movement in hip hop...it involved, the law, the courts, citizens of the urban community, community responsibility and the police. This is why CBS covered it becuase hip hop was voicing it yet the rappers were dropping the ball. Lil Kim Busta, Scarface, Jim Jones and numerous others....all of these guys were making fools of themselves in trying to defend the the 'stop snitching movement' when they could have used their voices to actually explain the reason why those in the urban communities have a wall up when it comes to talking to popo. They went trendy with it instead of addressing it seriously. Cams dumbass went on CBS with that 'nikka-cute' act that works on Hot 97 and MTV but not CBS. Cam should have known better. Star stood on his actions but Cam had to apologize for sounding so dumb when asked what he would do if he knew a serial killer was his neighbor. Cam should have remembered he was on a different platform and that "nikka-cute" sh*t would backfire as it did....Because CBS made Cam out to be the poster child of rappers stance on the 'stop snitching' movement. And that the stance was one of ignorance. Cam became another reason as to why not to take rappers seriously when it comes to politics. That CBS interview will always be a blemish in Cams legacy.

Star, Charlamagne and Ebro strike me as guys that only can pull that alpha male role off infront of young Black folks..Most of the "hip hop" audience and artists are less sophisticated so they feel they can bully them, but will pander and bow down to white folks.. None of them are built like Pac or even Spike Lee...

The last quote is another case of when tip riding Pac goes wrong.

I dont ever remember Pac going in on white folks. Ever. That was Ice Cube, X Clan and a dash of Wu Tang. Pac said Tabitha Soren was one of his friends when she asked who are his friends in the industry. He gave credit to his white friend for helping him get in art school. He was pro Black not anti white. Remember what Pac said about the daughter of his label liking him and thats how he got his deal? That daughter was white. Pac would speak on the "white system" yet he was a slave to Jimmy Iovine. Pac was bigging up a lot of white folks in his career.

On the flip side..... I've never seen Char or Ebro or Pac go in on whitefolks to the extreme Star has. He'll big up jews one second then make a holocaust joke the next. Pac never made Holocaust jokes nor spoke on how Italian mothers have mustaches. Star has said some of the most racist things towards whites I've heard allowed on radio....and not that sideways racism Rush Limbaugh and Bill O Reilly do....Star has refered to the white race as the grafted devils of Yacub on radio airways numerous times. He even refered to his white mom as being grafted. I never once heard Pac refer to whites as "devils" or "grafted." Star was speaking on Eugenics on radio airways and breaking down the differences between the races. I've never once heard Pac break down the genetic differences between white and Blacks. Your defintion of "pandering" is a lot different from mine

He did know they were white though. :manny:

Fred.

But he knew they were white

:umad:

wait hold up.....so in order for a person to be considered not pandering to whites a Black man has to actually pull out a gun and shoot white people??

:laff:

You 2 sound silly. So Pac shot 2 white people who he thought were going to start trouble and thats what instantly puts him in the category of one who doesn't pander to white folks?? Thats laughable.

O'Reilly ain't scared of Star, Luda, Cam, Dame Dash or no other rapper. That's the difference. Star knows he can chump a biitch ass rapper because in most cases that rapper is insecure and feels the need to show how tough he is which Star lives on exploiting. O'Reilly doesn't feed into that knee grow high cappin', thus Star was forced to come at him calm and collected.

This.

Op left out the main reason O'Reilly was on his show to begin with. Star was getting slammed by the media after he was arrested and kicked off Power 105. He was using O'reilly as a platform to defend his position towards what he did to Envy being that his main platform was gone. Star was smart......He didnt go to a "Hip Hip" media outlet...He took it a step further and went to an anti Hip Hop media outlet that was big in mainstream media. He was schooling O 'reilly and those who are not in the know on "street talk"....A big piece of info that is always left out when speaking on the Star/Envy situation is how Envy was talking that gully street sh*t on air when they were going back and forth. It was a 'you had to be there" moment. Star called his bluff by talking about Envy's daughter. There's a thread in the Locker room right now about some gorilla looking chick catching feelings after taunting Ray J only for Ray J to fire back. That was Envys same reaction...He could dish it but couldnt take it. Star is trying to explain all of this while O'Reilly trys to put some sort of moral spin on it. Star stands his ground because he was right...there is no 'moral spin' in street talk. Star standing his ground is the W. Its a W because Star prove he's not just someone who talks it unlike Envy. Thats where the respect factor comes in while Envy is exposed for not being about that life. Had Star actually apologized he woulda lost hella of points. Then and only then can one say that O'reilly treated Star like a kid but that never happened. This is why OP is way off because he's only telling half the story.
