Favorite cut off Sewaside, straight up:pachaha:

Man bought this tape the first week it dropped, get through the a-side, flipped that bytch over to the b-side and it opened with this

My crew is back again!!!!! :ooh::blessed:

yep my fav too on possibly my fav album of theirs

what I liked about this album is they kinda cooled it on the iggidy stuff that was so prevalent on their debut, but they still had some of that identity with some more coherent and hardcore rap styles brought in, so their rapping definitely stepped up a notch

The lead off single Freakit was aight, they was playin it on the wake up show, had my mind made up to buy the tape regardless. They also addressed on the album how folks was "using" their style, they was talmbout Lords Of The Underground.:pachaha:

first 2 Das albums were wack as hell to me especially Dead Serious. Hold it Down was dope, easily their best album.

I never thought Lords sounded like Das..I mean they were comin from the same places NY/Jerz and had that hard east coast production/cadence but other than that we all knew the difference and still rocked with both crews

It's a cool song. But I prefer Undaground Rappa, Gimme dat Microphone, Baknaffek and Caught in da AK all ahead of this:yeshrug:

Straight Up Sewaside is a dope album though. I'd give it 8/10. Wbu?

Seems like a fair rating. 8 or 8.5.

Bought both them tapes playboi, Here Comes The Lords and Straight up Sewaside....Yeah, they were different but both had similarites, Mic Checka/Check It, the whole "underground" image, the flip of the tongue. Doitall even said it on Funky Child.....

"Everybody thought it was Das but it didn't Effect me....Cause i fear no man so if its on then its on" :manny:

Then Das addressed it on the intro of Bakneffek...."Folks taking the image/style too far, they know who they are who they be"

Regardless though, rocked both them albums.
