That crowd was straight :pacspit:...Cena did not have ONE fan in that bytch...sometimes I do wish the E would have pulled that :troll: card and had Cena win the match just to see if that crowd would have rioted...

Of course they would have :russ:

this is the one match where i gained respect for cena and thought he looked g as fukk... goat entrance

Yeah, Cena was cool, calm and collected. I think half them smarky ass dudes wouldn't have done a thing besides start a fukk you Vince chant.

ONS 05 is one of my favourite PPV's of all time, I still remember feeling a little let down when this was all said and done.

Cena is a professional to the core I think most if not all of the homegrown talent on the roster at that time couldn't have handled , and embraced the moment as he did. Case in point Young Randall.

The great loud crowd obviously added to the atmosphere, and I agree it was one of the best PPVs ever.

But seriously ... riot? Over a scripted finish they didn't like? :rudy:

It was still real to those dudes.

Those signs are pretty standard

Still see "If Cena wins, we riot" signs at PPVs

And if you want to get technical about it, the fact that its scripted is all the more reason to show your displeasure at the outcome.

I just remember thinking at the time that some of these dudes are taking this a little too seriously.

Don't get me wrong. It's fine to suspend disbelief for awhile and to prefer one outcome to another, obviously. And making signs is part of the fun, sure.

But I remember crowd shots showing guys who looked legit pissed off at the possibility of Cena winning. Like they go home and lose sleep over it.

I could never relate to the concept of actually getting mad over who wins a match. I'm sure most of the dudes in that crowd were just having fun and that's fine, but some of them seemed a little disturbed to me.

But I enjoyed the show and that crowd was part of the reason why, so props to them I guess.
