his "vocal character" was hilarious on this track omg son 
that was admittedly a woat era in rap when you had emcees making these strange vocal choices. mr. funky from lords of the underground, snagglepuss, scoob lover, 8-off the assassin, da bush babeez, ahmad, bootie brown & imani from the pharcyde, lord have mercy more and even ice cube changed up his voice on da lench mob's album guerillas in the mist....
b-real from cypress hill definitely set it off. but when he did it man it was amazingly dope & unique. then i think onyx took it a step further but they were dope too. puff sounds like a combo of those two on this track, thank god he changed it up when he met mase & the lox because that's when he was killin shyt vocally
