....and I know some people will argue he was better after he got out of jail and yeah he did improve lyrically but to me that Thug Life era from after Strictly up until MATW was when Pac was just a 'round the way nikka spittin that raw shyt, not distracted by beef or other bullshyt. A very important phase in his development as an artist and emcee. I think the majority of the R U Still Down? album is from this era too.

I agree... That Thug Life CD was dope. And Me against the world gets slept on something serious and it has one of my favorite Tupac songs "Shed so many tears"

I also agree that he was just spittin at that time, He was worried about beef and the rest of the rap game like that. He was in a zone of making dope songs and music but it gets overshadowed by the Post jail/Deathrow 2pac. Which suck because if he hadn't went to jail I think he would have started his own movement/label with Thug Life and wouldn't have had to get down with Suge and them.
