All Star
Alex Abrines ...last years Rising Star is being bought out to come over to Thunder
You're kidding right?Too bad they didn't spend that extra dough to keep harden
nopeYou're kidding right?
With Durant and Westbrook they had all the scoring they needed (ok - except in the THREE games when it mattered..) and Harden's non-existent defense alone is plenty of reason why it would not have worked. If this works all depends on what happens with Westbrook.. literally not a word from him, yet.
im seriously foolishly hoping that westbrook extends with okc and stays with them.........You're kidding right?

with harden they had elite scoring for every minute of the game, the only time tunder made it to the finals was with james harden, who helped them a lot in the series against spurs back in 2012. This whole harden sucks on defense shyt started happening once he got a big ass role in houston, he wasn't a black hole on defense in oklahoma. Harden was a legit help on offense once KD or RW sit out for a few minutes, in fact when RW got injured next year after the trade in the playoffs, harden would have helped KD tremendeously, and then two years later KD went missing for tha season, they needed someone like harden badly, they fukked up trading harden, plain and simple.
if you look at it like that you make a great point. It's true that there was a year that KD went missing - it's easy to forget that just based on the sheer skill he has and how insanely he can score. I just wonder if the whole thing wouldn't implode - especially based on the performances Harden's had in the post season since. Yes, there were games where he basically did unbelievable things from a scoring point of view. There was also the game where he broke the record of a turnovers by 1 player. And this is when he actually gets to have the ball. Would it at one point implode if you have a guy who can practically score at will, a guy who goes coast to coast.. ON DEFENSE :/ (Westbrook) who also misses completely uncontested lay ups because he can't manage his strength... and then Harden is supposed to be like the most underpaid and overskilled 6th men of the years in history? I think ego was starting to bubble and he left to be his own star, which is exactly why he resigned AND is exactly why the Thunder stayed dangerous. All that said: numbers don't lie. They went to the Finals with him, had they all sat down with the right coach.. they could have been hella, hella deadly and would've been back in there. Probably. KD would've never even considered the Warriors (just want to -for the record- state that I think that was the biggest fall of a superstar player in recent memory, going to the team that whipped you and now there being sounds of OKC players saying they were uncomfortable with how close KD was with Warriors players DURING THE WCFs... wtf man.... I hope telling himself he has to be happy for himself makes him sleep better, because any legacy is gone now. And NO it is absolutely not the same as what LeBron did).im seriously foolishly hoping that westbrook extends with okc and stays with them.........
i think it gives him the best chance to a championship as flawed a player as he is .......he is a def superstar elite pg/sg
im curious what a team built around him would look like

They would have won a min of 2 titles with that trio. Spurs were no match for them
