People forget Auburn started out slow last year barely getting by Washington State and Mississippi St. Kansas St. is a fundamentally sound team, but you see they never really had a chance to beat AU. They will win games in the Big XII though. If you want to talk missed opportunities talk about AU having receivers dropping passes that could have been touchdowns. Auburn made plays when they had to make them and got out of there with a win. They have a dominant guy that will be playing pro ball (probably) next year at receiver. Anybody who thinks they'll get ran over in the SEC is in for a show. It's a new year and the team has to gel together and find their groove. They really started hitting passes later in the game. You'll see a lot more of that because teams are going to try to stop the run. The defense is a lot better than they were last year already too.
