People need to understand the difference between a comedian and a comic.

A comedian is someone who can do stand up and knows how to deliver jokes. We can get into the "do they write all of their own material" debate another time but when it comes to stand up and roasts, you should be owning it.

A comic to me are comedic actors. They excel with the right script in front of the camera. They may not be naturally funny but with the right direction they can kill. Tiffany Haddish falls into the latter.

Yes comedians still bomb but at this level you shouldn't be bombing this often. Didn't she bomb during her tour and now this roast? At a roast, this something you have plenty of time to prepare for. There is no excuse to be struggling for 5/10 mins.

Look here big homie, a comedian is a nikka paid to make people laugh and a comic is a book with colored pages and stories with the x-men in them.

She took a paycut from Netflix for that "They Ready" special in order to pay the other women more, cuz they're friends and she's tryna get them on.

Listen I’m not even knocking Tiff, she been through a lot to get to where she is now however, she has to realize her lane and it’s comedy movies or shows with good writers because he has the comedic delivery for that avenue.. she’s not a stand up comedian and it’s ok..

She should focus more on the comedy or serious movies and tv shows.

Wow, woke up this AM to see that Tiffany Haddish bombed something serious at the NBA all star game roast last night.

I remember, she was begging Corey Holcomb to help her write jokes and he agreed. Not sure if this happened or not but it seems it the outcome was bad.

This is at least the 2nd time she has bombed as a professional. This bytch was never funny, she's just a bedwench plant that was put on to make black folk look like c00ns.

Comedy in 2020 is basically dead or corny af

They tried to cancel Dave Chappell after his last comedy special, which is funny because the reason they originally liked him was because of that type of comedy

Guys like Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle keep up with what's going on in the world and use that for material. They'll always be able to do standup because there's always something going on that they can make fun of.
